NAMERA connects UK and EU buyers with an established network of transformer manufacturers in Türkiye and India. We work with the parties who build and connect critical grid infrastructure:
We are an introducer. NAMERA does not manufacture, hold stock, sell, or supply equipment. Each supply contract, warranty and payment is concluded directly between the buyer and the manufacturer.
Our role is to make the right introduction across multiple production lines — so buyers get genuine choice on specification, lead time and price, without being tied to a single factory.
This document describes the categories of equipment available across that network. The ratings shown are indicative of typical capability; the exact specification, standards conformity and price for any given unit are confirmed by the manufacturer at quotation against the project requirement. Product images are illustrative and do not depict a specific unit.
Equipment across the network is built to recognised international and British standards, including the IEC / BS EN 60076 series and, for dry-type units, IEC / BS EN 60076-11. Distribution and power transformers can be specified to meet Ecodesign Tier 2 loss limits (Regulation (EU) 548/2014 as amended by 2019/1783, retained in GB law). Where a project requires it, distribution transformers can be specified to ENA TS 35-1. CE-marked equipment is accepted in Great Britain. Conformity for any individual unit is declared by the manufacturer.

Fittings and protection devices supplied with units across the network.

Collects gas from internal faults in conservator transformers; provides alarm and trip signals plus a low-oil alarm.

For sealed transformers; detects over-pressure and over-temperature, with sight reservoir and gas / oil sampling.

Relieves internal over-pressure and reseals leak-tight; mounts in any position on the cover or wall.

Magnetic gauge following the conservator oil level; gives alarm and trip signals on sudden change.

Pocket-mounted dial gauge tracking maximum oil temperature, with optional alarm and trip contacts.

Silica-gel breather removing moisture and dust from conservator air to protect dielectric strength.

Non-condenser LV/MV bushing; a copper conductor in a porcelain shell, insulated by shell and oil.

Weatherproof fans circulating air over the radiators (ONAF) to speed cooling and lower operating temperature.
If you're sourcing transformers for a UK grid-connection project and want a wider set of manufacturing options than a single supplier offers, get in touch.
